As NapsLeague has grown over the past twelve months, it's become clear that for some its more than just a bit of fun, which is great, but it does mean that things need to evolve.
So, in order to do that, I need to make some changes to both the entry form and also the way the leagues are structured.
from Monday (assuming I get it all done at the weekend) the entry form will be changed so you don't select which league you're in, this is confusing for new players and also for those who get promoted/relegated.
From Monday, you'll be grouped alphabetically. We do this so you don't have to scroll for ages finding your @ in a list of 120 names. We will group them into 3 sets.
Secondly, the leagues. It's clear that having 3 leagues takes much of the fun out of it, as some players bang in winner, after winner. Not that this is their fault, but it can feel impossible to win at times.
So, we will have 6 (ish) leagues. around 15 players per league.
We will still have promotion and relegation, but it'll be the top two and bottom two in each league.
We will also run a Champions League for the league winners.
In order to do this, JUNE will be one big league. Your final position will determine which league you'll start in.
